State Assembly Structural Change Act

Purpose

To ensure that any changes suggested in the State Assembly (SA) to the structure or organization of the SA are approved by both the State Assembly and the Citizens.

Process

1. SA Vote

Any proposal to change the SA’s structure must first pass a State Assembly vote.

2. Citizen Ratification

If passed by the SA, the proposal then proceeds to a Citizen vote in a public channel (such as the election channel).

The post will include:

  • The current system
  • The proposed new system
  • A simple Yes / No vote, lasting 48 hours

3. Ratification

  • Requires a majority (51%) Citizen vote to pass.
  • If it fails, no change is made.
